Having grown up with property developer parents, flipped houses alongside her husband, and gained extensive corporate business acumen, Alexandra Scott is now taking the next step to make her dreams a reality.
Opening Ray White Pokolbin alongside powerhouse Ray White Scone principal Hamish Firth, Alexandra is set to transform the real estate offering in the beautiful Hunter Valley wine region.
“Real estate is in my blood, and having bought, sold and renovated many homes over the years, I believe that this next step will be a wonderful chapter for my career, for the hunter residents and for my family,” she said.
Having bought her first home at age 21 after being obsessed with real estate from a young age, Alexandra gained a plethora of interior design and styling tips and tricks. “I learnt a lot through the process of buying and selling, and ensuring that a home is presented in its best light possible for great results.”
Her 25 year career in high-powered positions across sales, marketing and negotiation in banks and tech companies has put her in good stead for the world of real estate. “I have honed the art of sales, problem solving and building relationships with clients.”
Alexandra and her family left Sydney at the start of covid and bought a small cattle farm and vineyard in the region, and started their own wine label. Once they arrived in the Hunter, they never looked back.
“There is so much to do here. The lifestyle benefits are endless; it is a beautiful weekender destination and an even better place to call home.”
“There is also phenomenal investment potential in the region, with owners yielding great capital gains out of a relatively untapped market.”
Alexandra said there was a significant amount of money being spent in the area right now, in terms of infrastructure, rural and residential projects, entertainment and retail precincts, beautiful restaurants, schools, wineries, events, concerts, golf, and horse riding.
“This region has a beautiful community feel. I love the people here and the pace of country life.” Alexandra said she had engaged Ray White for all of her house sales in Sydney, and couldn’t think of a better brand to partner with.
“The experiences that I had with the Ray White offices in Sydney were excellent. I loved the professionalism, and the brand is well aligned with me personally and how I want to represent myself to my clients.”
Hamish Firth said he was thrilled to partner with Alexandra Scott in opening Ray White Polkolbin and is excited to further extend the Ray White Rural offering in the region.
“Alexandra possesses a rare authenticity and is passionate about connecting with buyers and sellers alike,” he said.
“Her determination to operate with transparency and integrity will help educate the local sellers and buyers on the facts and figures, while she expresses her own love for the area.”
After being on her own property buying journey, Alexandra said that her goal is to really listen to buyers, something that she noticed was lacking in the region.
“I intend to introduce a white glove service, spending time with prospective buyers, educating them on the area and trying to find them the right fit,”
“Our aim is to listen and qualify leads, finding the perfect marriage between the buyer and seller needs. We are also excited to explore the endless possibilities of holiday rentals and weekenders in the region, so that more people can come and experience it,” she said.
“Recruitment will be a major focus. We really want to grow a beautiful and thriving family business which is what Ray White Rural is all about.”
Ray White Rural CEO Stephen Nell said that he was thrilled for Alexandra and Hamish and the entire Hunter Valley community.
“Alexandra Scott has the tenacity and passion to represent our group to the highest of standards in the important Hunter Valley region,” he said.
“Hamish Firth has achieved great success at Ray White Rural Scone, and I look forward to watching them grow as a team and recruit more exceptional people.”
